meet maria
Maria turned her passion into her full time career in 2004, after attending interior design classes at Moore College of Art and Sheffield School of Design. She opened Beach Dwellings Design in August of 2005, and has made her dream of living at the beach and working with clients in this seaside environment come true. She loves to pull the natural elements of the coastal surroundings inside, working to incorporate the colors of the water, sand and ever-changing sky into her designs.
Maria also attends a variety of seminars and design trade shows throughout the year to maintain her affinity for the continual evolvement of trends within the industry. From traditional to contemporary, and every design in between, Maria loves to bring her clients' style to the forefront to create the home or business environment they've always dreamed of.

We maintain attention to detail from the start. We will continually act as your eyes and ears during the building process. Decorating a house is supposed to be comfortable and fun, so let's enjoy this. We understand that every project, as well as every budget, is different, and we will make your best interests our top priority. We can warehouse items until the home is ready, including existing furniture if necessary. We'll be by your side every step of the way, until the last accessory is placed, and if you prefer, we can create a turnkey home - from bedding to dishes in the cupboard!
